I may purchase a factory DD MK 18 from a family member in the same state. He bought it new from a class 3 dealer locally. What do I need to do to buy it from him? I've only done 1 suppressor through the local lgs so I don't know anything about sbr's. I did the single shot trust for my suppressor so Id like to put this in a trust also.

Same State?
Unless you're in a state with weird 'FU' gun laws, it should be a straight F4 from them to you. As I understand, it has to be paper - don't think eforms is setup for person-person transfers. |

Use this, so easy.
https://eform4.silencershop.com/ Will need hard copies x2 of the buyers fingerprint cards, a copy of the buyers complete trust and a check or credit card number mailed to the ATF. Pnce the seller gets the approved form 4, then he can give you the SBR and approved form 4. |

If you have your trust paperwork you can use it again. No issues in OH. You'll need to print of the form 4 and the responsible persons form and fill them out. Get pictures and finger prints done, you can get the .gov to send finger print cards to you for free.
