Very nice!
The Hi-Lux CMR has been my "DSM" scope for a few years now - my only gripes are that the battery life is meh, and the reticle is a little slow to pick up when you're moving & shooting multiple targets. |

From my understanding its a prototype FN suppressor.

I kind of did the same thing with a grenade ring and some gutted 550 cord. |

Once it's in good shape then take the Dremel impregnated buffing wheel ang give that same area on the hammer a nice polish job. That's it. Doesn't reduce the pull weight, doesn't really remove any metal(my biggest concern) but you get a trigger that breaks likes glass. I'd love a light trigger in mine and my wife's but I'm just being stingy and can't see spending the $300-$400 for one of the aftermarket triggers. If I need a nice light triggered gun I'll grab one of my Sakos out go the safe. could you go into a little more detail on this please? like "how much buffing" do you do etc? I can fully see myself buffing a new notch because I'm not sure how far to take it. |

Use the wire brush to take off the original finish, and it does a bit of polishing too. Then use the impregnated buffing wheel to actually polish that little place where the trigger contacts the hammer. Just polish that area, don't go trying to reshape it. I didn't take mine to a perfect mirror finish because I didn't want to screw it up by taking off too much metal. Didn't matter, it turned out great. A nice, basically free trigger job. |

A Zeiss Z-Point red dot. It turns on with the battery and then switches over to the solar cells on top to run it when you're outdoors in daylight. Trijicon kinda copied it recently with one of their newer models. It's a great little optic and she really loves it. You're seeing the rubber protective cover on it in the picture. |
