Which size did you end up going with? and is that a 10 or 10.5? I ordered a few based upon other recommendations I saw online.

It's a 10.5". I didn't buy the FN ones. I kept drilling the hole bigger and bigger using a set of number drills. I believe i stopped at #45 (.0820) or #46 (.0810). I had the bolt holding back every time using Wolf 55gr.

I put a sear in it (07/02 MFG) and it would not run unless i had a can on it. I didn't have my number drills but went up to 3/32 and still wouldn't function. I need to get back out with it. Ill post a video when im done.

13.5" pinned/welded 17s.  Leupold Mk6 1-6 is first on the upgrade list, then Form 1 and a can. Someday.

Thanks man! Shoots as good as she looks. Generally with someone better than me behind the trigger, (but I can do alright too).

Been a while since I've posted some pics.

Cerakoted Magpul FDE and internals are Cerakoted Armor Black.
Surefire Brake cut/pinned at 14.5"
PWS Rail Extension
KAC Micro BUI's
KAC Handstop
Tango Down Charging Handle
Magpul Safety Levers
Front sight removed and rail installed.

Looking to get an Inforce WML /w Haley Strategic offset mount for it.

Tis true. That is only some of the collection. Fortunately for me my husband was born with a very serious case of BRD. As for the beard, I have no idea what all he keeps in there. At night I swear I hear voices coming from it.

I just got it put on this week so I actually haven't gotten out to try it. Just looking through it around the house I'm very happy with it. I'm still trying to get it placed just right on my rails. It's a CMR reticle.

I love it. it works well for hogs in the brush down here and then if I need to take that longer shot I can. or pop it off and drop my PVS14 on

Not trying to get into your business but it is not recommended that you put a PVS14 on anything larger than a 5.56mm or you could  damage your tube (unless you have a film-less 14).

There is a space in between the cathode and MCP. When the PVS14 is turned on, the 'film' flexes (like a drum) as it collects light/ionizes, etc. The recoil from a 7.62x51 causes the film to over flex and it routinely will touch the MCP. This will leave a black spot...usually in the very middle. You can't fix it. Of course, if you have a film-less then this is not an issue since nothing is there to over flex and contact the MCP.

I'm assuming that this guy didnt want the factory stock latch to break, hence the non folder. but damn, I would want the folding stock, with the IWC fix of course

He doesnt seem to shy away from after market parts and the latch is a 5 second fix. I love the SCAR boot stock.

I guess you missed where he wrote "...then if I need to take that longer shot I can. or pop it off and drop my PVS14 on." in his post directly above mine that you are quoting.
There's actually more than just pictures in this thread.
