Not Johmem but the ADM Delta mount was made for the Scar. They are suppose to be GTG

Optically, I think the Razor is stunning.  The housing seems to disappear at 1x.  The red dot is very bright.  The weight however, is nearly a deal killer for me, it just makes the rifle less balanced than it could be.  Why can't it weigh the same as a TA11?

I have several ADM mounts, and I have had zero trouble with them.  I chose it because it was designed for the SCAR, as mentioned above.

My humble contribution.  Still not sure I want to run the Ultra Short on there permanently.

Finally finished my scar.  I had the pmm mlok and kdg acr stock but I’m loving the classic look.

Always went back and forth with cutting one of 17s barrels and pinning a Dead Air fh. Couldnt pass up the one I found on the EE. Now I have my other for a spare. With the Sandman K it feels awesome. Handles great. I really hope its tolerable with that little guy on there. If it is this is my new all purpose go to rifle. Now I need to tune the gas jet. PMM told me try 1.4 and go from there.

Perfect setup right there! TA-11 ACOG + SCAR 17 = perfection.

How is blast/noise/recoil with the chopped barrel sans suppressor?

Finally settled on a NF NX8 from the NXSx24 I had and really like it. Also found that FGMM 168's & Prvi Match 168's are both at about 1 moa @ 100yrds off some sand bags. Included some reticle pics as it was hard to find myself when I was thinking about this scope. [Old School Saker 762, 1.40mm Gas Jet, NX8 w/ NF 1.5" Rings & Geissele Super SCAR]

So, this one is holding up great. I've seen two break, but they were mounted on M4s. Go figure.

That’s good to know. I ditched my Elcan 1.5-6 recently in favor of a second Razor just for my 17.

I only test fired it in this configuration with a 1.4 gas jet. With the K can, I was seeing flashes through the ACOG even with the flash hider end cap. Ill most likely run the Sandman S on here from now on.

Sort of off topic, but there are SCAR pictures.

Taped it all off where I wanted.

Painted it all over with the Rustoleum Khaki Camo, and then I streaked it with Rustoleum Army Green(lighter green) and Krylon OD Green just sort of alternating the streaks.

Then I streaked it with the Rustoleum Earth Brown camo on both sides

Then when that had dried a good bit I took the Krylon OD green and the Rustoleum Forest Green and held the can about 12-14 inches away and just lightly misted the entire rifle to blend it all together. Once that had dried a little but I also misted it with the Rustoleum Earth Brown as well.

I grew a big pair right before I decided to paint it, but as soon as the first streak of paint when on the buttstock, all of the fear went out the window.

word... you wont even care about chucking them into the back of a pick up truck now... I don't paint all my guns, but the ones that are painted truly become tools... I just keep putting lube on them.

Boy that looks good. In the running for best camo scheme ever, in my book, right behind Augee's HK417.

The overall misting really helped darken it. Looks really light in the "in process" pics.

How’s your experience with the MAMS on there? Any more or less blast than with the stock break? Considering using one for a p&w

I have MAMs all the things, per say.  I have a MAMs pinned on my ACR, 4 MAMs on my SR15s and two other 7.62 MAMs on my SR25s.  I love it.

The thing shoots flatter that the stock brake on the SCAR.  I would do it in a heartbeat.

Here's a current family photo. I have an extended rail for the 17 but I haven't had the time or guts to try and take the barrel off (heard it was more difficult than an AR).

Finally got around to take a pic of the FN family. Just got it around three weeks ago.

I'm amazed at how flat shooting this thing is with that brake and the mass of the bolt going forward. With this combo you can get easy follow up shots in the same place.

BTW, anyone have a SCAR with an NT4 suppressor? I need some ideas.

Changing the barrel is easy peasy. You’ll need a torque wrench.

A small propane torch is quicker. Took about 5 seconds of heat on the screws when I did mine.

ETA PMM has a video on YouTube that will help.
