Question for those that have experience with SF suppressors. I’m trying to firm a decision which muzzle device I will use for a 11.5” build. I have access to SF 3 and 4p’s and the muzzle break. I only have experience with the 4p’s on both 5.56 and .308 platforms. It’s why I’m here today asking a question lots of laughs. The prongs are ‘ok’ on 14.5” AR15 unsuppressed. The prongs are ‘unacceptable’ on .308 unsuppressed. On a 11.5” I suspect the prongs will cause a lil more flip unsuppressed. I’m wondering if I put a muzzle break/adapter on it how it will do with the can on a 11.5”. Is there any ill effects from using a muzzle break with a can (sf mini) ? In my mind, I would use the break on a longer barrel. I know at the indoor range the mb is loud. But. I want this thing done right the first time. It will usually always have a can if it’s being used. What’s your opinion? Is there any downside to using the mb on a 11.5”? |

| It was one in one of the early press releases for the RC4. On their website it says it's optimized for any of the open tined muzzle devices. I don't think you'll have any issues with either the 3 or 4 prong. Just don't use a warcomp. My URG-I came with the 4 prong, that's why I'm using it. My other RC4 is used with a brake as are all of my other SF suppressors. |

Ok I know the URGIs and super dutys both have 4 prongs by default to match the contract setups. Media saying its optimized for any open prong socom device is not the same as singling out the 4 prong specifically as being better than anything else including 3 prong. Would have to track down the mentioned early rc4 marketing where they specifically said "4 prong better". |
