So I'm doing some online window shopping for some parts to hang a CQBL and scout light off the right side, and mount a dual lead mod button on the left.  Going with the Dakota Tactical mlok handguard as a base, and looking at the arisaka mlok to mlok adapter that will give me enough mlok space to mount the mod button or unity button with mlok hardware.  Anyone using this handguard or possibly same setup, can you verify clearance with the mlok to mlok adapter and the Dakota Tactical handguard, and how much interference there is with the cocking handle using the arisaka mount in conjunction with the mod button to activate the light and laser?  Pics would be awesome as well, thanks!

I don't have this setup, but you're probably going run into clearance issues with the charging handle and a modbutton on the Arisaka mlok to mlok mount.

Have you looked into an extended handguard like the Lee Sporting  or the about to be released Midwest Industries  K suppressor handguard?

The MI rail is longer than I want to go, but that Lee K+1 handguard might be the ticket.  Thanks for the link, never saw that one until now.

I have a ap5p with a UTG handguard and extended charging handle. If you run a switch on top you can get away with the unity axon switch(gives you dual switch capability). I don’t have a pic right now but can try and get one to you later. If you already purchased the Dakota tactical rail, I’d say try to mount the switch on top using this Midwest rail adaptor. I don’t have hands time behind the Midwest mount but it looks similar. It does not push the switch as far forward as the UTG rail though.

I haven't committed to a system yet, but the leapers UTG handguard is hot.  Do you notice any issues with rubbing on the receiver, or any flex issues between the optic mount section and the handguard section?

No I have not had that issue. I had to dremel a piece of the rail only because of fitment issues which is apparently normal for mke.
