Acquired this in a collection understanding that it's basically a MK11 can. Found it interesting that this was able to be used on the BR when it had the QD device and NT4 style can. Any of the old gurus still around to help with a history lesson?

Unfortunately not. BR is on the list but even I have to be honest with myself about that level of unobtanium.
