Got out to range today. For anyone curious about accuracy this at 100yds with my 357 mag handloads (147gr Smileys from RMR, 5.5gr TiteGroup, 1.58” COAL. Didn’t bring measuring tape so held my Garmin Fenix 5x next to it which is 2” in diameter. Thought I’d share my results. I just picked up the stealth hunter version in 357. Pretty damn happy with the accuracy thus far. Does your trigger have a lot of play in it? It's my first lever action so I'm not sure what is normal. I can literally shake the rifle and the trigger rattles back and forth like it's not under any spring tension. It still operates just fine and has a nice break. I'm just not sure why it has so much free movement in the forward direction. |
