| I have a colleague who is selling a LNIB FN Scar heavy FDE. I would like to make an offer but not sure how much to offer. I see them on GB for over $3K. I don't know much about the SCAR heavy but if I could get it for a great deal I would do so. Would $2K be a great deal for me? |

I'm seeing 3k new recently and 2700 for the 556 version. If I wasn't tight on cash I'd buy a 16 for that. 2k would be a steal but you can always offer that much. I wouldn't take advantage of a friend hurting for cash if that's the case and I'd offer $2400 at the very least. That way both parties are happy. If he's just selling it because he wants something else then offer 2k  Realistically if a used scar was $2600 I'd say that is a good price as long as it's not beat up too bad. The scar gets so much hate on social media but I think 99% of those people never owned one. |
