Any one shooting a GSR suppressed? What mounting system are you using? I just got my first suppressor (polonium 30) and I put a Rearden flash hider on my rifle to mount the suppressor on. When I installed the flash hider I could not get it threaded all the way down the shoulder of the front sight. When I checked the setup with an alignment rod, it was canted the rod was touching one side. Suggestions? |

When I had my GSR I used the AAC 51T mount and their SDN-6 suppressor. I only added one thin shim just so I had one of the flash hider prongs at the 12 o' clock position, not neccesary but I just wanted a uniform look. The flash hider would've installed fine without the shim. My setup had no issues with concentricity.  OP, what model GSR do you have? Not all .308 models are the same, when you look at factory front sight location. Mine was the 6803 model. |
| I'm not sure what model number mine is, but I know it's an older model. It doesn't have any shoulder between the front sight and the barrel threading. I think that is what is causing me the issues. I had some shims I tried using between the sight and the muzzle device but they weren't thick enough. |
