The ‘collectors series’ will be based on the L85A2 and feature numerous components from actual Enfield-manufactured rifles. Allegedly the Ministry of Defense (MoD) has a policy of destruction for weapons leaving service, so these parts that are in the US are incredibly rare, they have enough parts for 40 rifles. These will cost $12,000 Meanwhile since they are tooled up for US manufacturing they will be producing the L85A3 as ‘production guns’ later on. The Murdoch L85 is a true L85 for $12,000 You are thinking of the Aly and Kaufman BRN-180 conversion kit which is $895 Totally different products made my totally different companies Sven Manticore Arms |

Only 3 semi auto samples of the SA 80 were imported. Two in L85 configuration and one in L86 configuration. I wonder where they are now. When was the last time they changed hands and for how much? |

I remember MFI selling airsoft copies and referencing the sale price of a semi-auto L85 at over $80K. And that was 20 years ago. |

I don't know what is peoples problems. We are a country blessed with the ability to fulfill a lot of legal wants and desires. My cousin in law who is in his 60's and served in the British army in the 80's wants one and my own cousin, she texted me about it. I said..." I helped him get a LEO Century import Enfield made L1A1, also helped him with an Lee Enfield, a Sterling SBR, and lastly he got a parts kit L7A2 that he hasn't done anything with except get a dummy receiver for and hopes to someday finish into a working semi auto. Despite the price & famous unreliability.. I wouldn’t mind one.. Heck.. I’m not even a bullpup guy but I got an AUG A1 just because I love the Cold War era rifles, an era when every country had his own rifle. For that same reason I was looking at a Famas in 222 thr other day.. being 222 they’re not that expensive over here. |

Nothing to see here, folks. We're way past quarter 2 2026 for shipping, and as far as anyone knows, literally only three rifles exist, and they're the three he totes around to all these shows. None are being made, because none are being bought for that absurd price. It'll be featured on forgotten weapons soon, like the HMG stg debacle. |

Not vaporware. He set everything aside to get us ban state people ours first in receiver form. Attached File It was transferred several months ago and is currently back with them waiting on the refinements he's making. A number of others also got them. |
