I know this is nothing special in this thread because of all of the badass MPX's you guys have... and this is nothing but a bone stock MPX without even sights, but I just brought this thing home & can't wait to get started with what you guys have inspired me to do!

I would buy one if the price is right. Extra set of parts would be ideal since Sig cant deliver. The 4.5" aluminum handguard I ordered in Feb 2016 just arrived at my doorstep. I called to buy an upper to use for PCC, not available for backorder yet, no PN's created either. Although I fall into the Gen1 MPX discount on gen 2 uppers., so it would be about $700 (allegedly) for a complete G2 upper. If my current setup breaks, you bet I will pay more for whats available now. Doesn't hurt to put out a feeler.

Sweet. I think I'll try it out in sbr form first. If it tickles me I'll keep it and sell a kidney or something. If it's meh, then I'll probably sell the upper.

I've hunted with both - but primarily supers when I "know" I'll be hunting.  Sometimes the opportunities just present themselves.

SIG MPX PDW Stock System from high impact manufacturing

[Last Edit: Desert_GunnerAZ] [#26]

MCX 9" 300BLK - Gen 2
Eotech 553 (SU-231/PEQ)
Rugged Suppressors Surge762 in the short configuration

Newest addition to my family and a early wedding present to my soon to be wife. (Early present because our wedding will be in California, and we all know the gun laws there are dog poo)

Plan to file the Form 1 immediately after our honeymoon...then its the search for the perfect stock setup. Leaning towards just baking the PSB out of the knuckle and adding a MFT Minimalist on a tube.
Also curious if anyone knows how well a picatinny thorntail for a 300 scout light would mate up to the handguard? Either offset on top, or on a low-profile keymod rail on the side.

EDIT: New to the forum, still figuring how to link pictures and have it show.

Love that setup! MPX will be my next purchase and 3-Lug is the direction I'm leaning towards. Found out a company called In Lead We Trust sells barrels with a 3-lug mount machined on. From users that have their barrels I've heard great reports. Thinking a 4.5" barrel with 3-lug and standard handguard with my Omega 9-k and either the Rugged Obsidian or Harvester 3-lug adapter to bring it in a little closer.

I got to the range Sunday, shoots very soft and surprisingly accurate.   I got to stock up on subsonics!   Shooting supers felt like shooting 5.56, and I can do that for half the price.    One hell of a TX hog gun.   The good old Cyclone K worked well.  I do covet a nice fat titanium can, not sure I rationalize that now.

I tried the Omega-9k from my MPX on the 300 MCX.  its a bit louder, not a surprise given the volume difference.  Does make a tiny package, about same size at MPX:

Midwest said in their industry forum last week that they are starting the process.
I had been after them to make one in mlok and they finally responded.

ETA

I know your question was about quad rail but I thought I'd throw it out there

Yeah I don't understand why there isn't more options.
Making hand guards for the MPX/MCX seems pretty simple compared to standard AR units.
And both are pretty popular

My lancer mpx handguard is slightly slimmer than the factory keymod handguard, noticeably lighter.

Anyone have a sig can that owns other rifle cans? Is there a significant increase in performance?
Im thinking about getting one. I already have 3 gemtech cans is there enough of a difference to justify spending ~1k?

Which SIG can are you looking at?  What calibers are you looking to shoot through it?

I own several brands and sizes (SIG, Surefire, AAC, Gemtech, Silencerco, etc)

The 7.62 qd ti.
5.56, 30blk, or 308. I'm still deciding what gun to put it on but definitely one of those calibers.

The 762Ti-QD is the quietest 30cal QD can that I own (Surefire SPS300, AAC SDN-6) - the only cans of any caliber that I own that are quieter are the SRD762Ti (direct thread Ti) and the 338Ti-QD.  The Surefire SPS300 is an awesome can, too, but still not as quiet as the 762Ti-QD.

Our 556 and 762 cans suppress 556 extremely well - 300Blk is where the 762Ti-QD really shines.

I wish you were closer and i'd let you shoot what i've got.
