Do full size 220 mags work in the 220 compact?
ETA: only concerned with .45 ACP, if it matters... |

From the Sig Forum...
"The full-size P220 mags will work in the P220 Compact, P220 Carry, and P245 but not the other way around, except for the P220 Carry because it also has a full size grip." Obviously, there will be a gap from the longer P220 full size mags when used with the P220 Compact. I have never tried one of these... but... https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1006118499?pid=941914 |

They do, with the gap. But, if you watch for deals the 220compact/245 magazines are fairly cheap ($20ish each).

When I carry a 1911, I usually have a 10 rd mag as a reload with a standard 8 rd mag in the gun. ETA: I see there are 10 rd 220 mags available as well. May grab a few of those. |
