Does a FA spade grip work a semi 1919, or do I need a Semi specific grip? Who sells a semi spade grip? Thanks |

Thanks Functionaly speaking, I don't see any reason why a FA spade grip will not work on a semi. I have a set from Ordinance Research and like them a lot but they're on a FA gun. The Ordinance Research site says they work with both semi and FA. Price of admission is not cheap for them and they are out of stock, see link below. There is no such thing as a semi or a full auto spade grip. The 1919a4 is set up for semi or full auto based on the trigger mechanism. The spade grip drops in and replaces the normal rear plate with pistol grip, and simply has a lever mechanism to operate the trigger. If you 1919a4 is semi auto, it will still be semiauto. If it is full auto, it will still be full auto. I can go into more detail (have a spare grip on our full auto 1919a4) btu I think that summarizes it pretty well. Sven Manticore Arms |
