Greetings all - haven't been able to find an answer to this question on some other specialty forums and thought I might ask the wise folks here as well. I recently picked up an 1809/1810 dated Springfield 1795 and noticed the ramrod has a hold drilled through it. There's also a stamp that looks very similar to a stamp on my M1812 rod. The reverse end is threaded. Wondering if anyone has seen anything similar out there, whether original or replacement? |
