My Stribog SP9A3G doesn't like Korean Glock 33 round mags. Just spotty. Right side mag release is hard as hell to push and lots of feed issues with ETS mags. All mags, hold open on last is spotty. Any way to improve the hold open on last? That wire is weak. Can it be upgraded? |
| My Korean mags worked great the first time I took mine out. Left them loaded for a couple of months and the next time they wouldn't feed hollow points at all and ball was about 50%. I also started having issues with the ETS mags AND Glock mags with HP's. Ball fed just fine. The problem with HP's got worse after I installed the HBI buffer. Every mag would have about 12-15 nose hung up on bottom of feed ramp out of 33 rounds. I put the stock buffer back in and the problem lessened quite a bit. Then I noticed hollow points started feeding a lot better with only one or two jams and only with my 115 grain reloads. Factory hsts and hydrashoks fed just fine. I recently reinstalled the hbi buffer and it is feeding much better even with my reloads. I don't know what changed but I'm kind of hesitant to install a 40° locking block. I'm afraid the problems will start all over again. I recently bought Glock magazine springs for the Korean mags and installed them. I haven't had a chance to try them yet but the Glock Springs are noticeably longer and stronger than the Korean springs. |
