So I think the blue screw in the standard position was stripped at the factory because I switched it over to the alt position due to one of my Photonis tubes in my RNVGs strobed on the standard setting and haven't touched it since then, late 2019. Not a big deal, you only lose b button flood on setting one. I sold off my original PVS14 to offset the cost of the RNVGs. I picked up an L3 PVS14 in the spring because I missed having one to take with me up camp, to the beach, loaner, etc. When I went to switch the screw back to standard setting on a night shoot was when I realized the standard screw hole was stripped.

What is actual difference between the settings technology wise?
