Does anyone here have an experience with the ultra short suppressors for 556? Are you happy with the performance? I’m not so much concerned with how quiet it is but back pressure and signature reduction. However I would like not to be deaf if I shoot a few rounds without Earpro. I kind of thought at 5.25” with the dual lok version, on the included mount, the HRT5K was good for that. The numbers and dosing suggest it was similar in safety to a Hux flow 556k which bats above its peak SPL reduction through some strange short duration or whatever it is. I haven’t heard or metered the other cans, but the people claim the tisha does pretty well. That seems to be pretty widespread opinion whereas the irregular defense seems to get less attention. I know in part that could certainly just be better marketing reach at saw though. The irregular can is better looking than the tisha to me, but thats not a performance metric. |

Cause I figure the added overall added length is roughly the same as the hub version since the locking mechanism looks like it might go over the barrel. Could be wrong though. |

Both My inconel is the old style and my Ti is the newer style. I cant tell a difference in sound or back pressure between them. |

Inconel Tisha and Rhodie inconel 6k owner here. Both are beyond great, but the Tisha is the better of the two in my opinion. I’ve used both on my 10.5” DI SBR build and my 11” MR556 A4 factory SBR. The Tisha is dedicated to the HK. I need to try the 6k on my 10.5” LWRC, 11.5” LMT and 13.7” Blackout Defense SBR’s. |

I think you will like the can. Thanks for your business. If you put dual lok on the hrt5k hub version it takes length from 4.5 to 5.55”, where native dual lok is 5.25” oal. This is one of the ways everyone thinks hub cans are shorter- the companies generally all spec naked hub lengths. You can see videos of people referring to 6.5” or even longer cans as k cans, and its because they are thinking without the length of the mounts they added. Dual lok muzzle devices are fluch with the back of the can. The muzzle device goes over just .660” of barrel [mostly threads], though a bayonet otb muzzle brake can shorten mounted length .890 or something around that more. I don’t think shortening the mounted length of already short cans is a great idea as it will likely reduce some performance. |

Attached File Hrt5k hub I have a few other low back pressure cans and this one is crazy. Just put 18 rounds through it (all I had in an open box). Weight and length on it are great. Sound was good. |
