Shot 5 dogs from the same spot with the can. YHM 30 cal can, works great on 223. Cheap n/v, but does ok about to about 150 yds.

Yukon Titanium, 2.4x42. I traded an old Ruger MkII, so figure I'm into it under $200. It was new in the box, so I think the guy stole it. I think a lot of stuff being sold online is coming from employee theft. But I digress....

Scope has IR illuminator, but I use a handheld illuminator that is much brighter to get longer distance. Going to do some pig hunting in a week (nighttime). Lots of pigs in AZ, but I understand you cannot shoot centerfire rifle after dark, so have to look for the pigs in NV.

The Savage is scary accurate, I was getting 1/4" groups at 50 yards pretty consistantly and just over an inch at 100. the bullet strike at 100 is louder than the rifle report!
