I have a rock solid 762x39 upper that I love but don't love the AR lower I'd love to get it to run on a KS47 lower |

Mega Maten the way to go for a "build your own" .308 semi-auto multi-purpose rifle? Not the poster but I have an AR10 built on a Mega MATEN upper and lower. Been rock solid using a Thunderbeast CB9. Little gassy but I'm going to try one of the Geissele charging handles. Here she is before I converted to a Magpul STR stock, carbine extension, Slash heavy buffer: |

Mega Maten the way to go for a "build your own" .308 semi-auto multi-purpose rifle? Thanks I have had zero issues with the reliability of the rifle, and would basically do everything the same. I don't have any experience with any of the other .308 uppers or lowers, but I think as long as you do your homework and get parts that are all compatible most of them should be good. Like compuvette said, it is a little gasy with the silencer. I plan on looking at different charging handles to see if I can take care of most of it. |

What is your source for the illegality of machine guns in Maryland? Because I'm in Maryland, and have fired dozens of privately-owned machine guns. One was just a few weeks ago and he'd only had it about a week at that point. |
Cunnilingus aside, that is fucking awesome.

Finally picked up my new Monolith from PSD at the manufacturer/dealer today after an early April check cash date. Eight months +/- a few weeks. The can is on an 11.5" barrel w/ BCM Upper, BCG, CH w/ Aimpoint PRO, Mbus PRO rear, Unity Tactical flip front with integrated scout mount. Also have K2+Grip (so excellent) MOE SL, Spikes H3 Buffer, Fail Zero Hammer etc. Will pop her cherry tomorrow evening. Should have had the gunsmith take off another 1/2 inch for perfect fit but wanted to be safe than sorry. Merry Christmas all! |
