| Can anyone recommend a good heat-resistant cover to place over the entire muzzle/handguard of an MP5-SD after firing? I don’t want a cover that lives on the suppressor - just a sack of some kind to slip over it when I finish shooting so it doesn’t melt my gun case. |

If you just need a "travel cover" then absolutely get a silicone curling iron pouch. I have several of these and they work great.

The SD with an A3 stock fits beautifully into an M240/M249 barrel bag. |

They were cheap too I use them for most of my guns in range trips. Even an SPR upper will fit in them…and I put the lower on the other side. The SD fits perfect. It’ll even fit an HK21 with the 14.5” barrel installed and the stock removed. They also make great shooting pads when you’re shooting off a bench. Attached File Attached File |
