Which works for you? I’m kind of torn. Tek-Mount seems better for me, but mostly because a few $$ cheaper. And seems a little more flexible. Is one fundamentally better? Trying to put multiple holsters on one belt. |

| I have two belts with Tek Mount receivers on them. Never had a problem. The adjustable cant is nice if, for whatever reason, you want to change it on the fly. My bro broke a fork on the QLS, but that was a long time ago and the one he's using now sees a lot of use and is fine. |

Lower profile? The one big benefit is that switching from the QLS, it's not a massive investement into the MT ecosystem; just the mounting platforms and and attached inserts. I do have a good dozen+ QLS holsters and mounting platforms though, so while they're cheaper it's not a small number. I also were prefer that if I swap, I do them all to avoid the mixing and matching. At least you can still use all of your curren mounts and holsters. ROCK6 |

I don't switch holsters out enough to see a point in either systems, plus the additional offset seems like more of an annoyance than anything, I already have a hard mounted safariland clacking against everything. I'm sure a professional trainer might benefit for moving the same holster around to different belts, but I can just as easily slide a UBL off the belt, since I offset the buckle a bit to avoid having anything blocking the holster. YMMV, but I think the simpler, more robust solution is best for this application. I use a T-rex speed belt, which isn't the sturdiest of gun belts, but it's got a nice quick adjust feature, and the buckles are small enough to fit through a UBL or equivalent. |
