Too bad there isn't a mocked up Nijmegen where you could jump in and take it on a walk with pop-up targets.

Very nice! Looks very much like what I did to mine.

Now send it off to Deerslayer aka Dan Block to get the faux FA lower mod. Gray Laser in San Antonio can do all the military markings.

I had John Andrewski go through it while it was in NFA jail. He parked it, properly heat treated the firing pin, riveted the rear sight, smoothed out the feed area, and installed a EZ pull spring kit. He thoroughly test fired it to make sure it was reliable. I think there were a couple other things he did but that's what I recall.

Nice SBR OP.  What did it cost to park the entire thing?  Did you send it out, or do it yourself?

I had Deerslayer go through mine and convert it to an SBR.  The barrel thing was troublesome, even after an approved Form 1 since he couldn't "make" the SBR himself; I had to do it which meant I had to cut the 16" barrel and send the new one to him to replace.  Also went with the green mountain Thompson SBR barrel...  wish it was not a polished blue, but still looks fine.

Got the full-auto look done on it, USGI furniture, EZ pull springs.  I didn't convert it to use USGI mags - still uses the Kahr mags.

I couldn't stop there and had to do the ATI MP40 as well (with a bunch of upgrades from MFI):

Nice.  I recently added the front re-enforcement band to mine as well.

For anyone planning on adding it just know there is a FA and a SA version.  SBR with Green Mountain or original barrel will use the FA one.  SBR with cut down barrel or non SBR will use the SA one.

It was parked by John Andrewski in NH along with a number of other things so I'm not exactly sure what it cost for the park?

It was sent out for the park by John Andrewski in NH. I bought the gun in SBR form new. Andrewski did a number of mods to get it running 100%. Not cheap but well worth having a reliable M1A1 Semi.
