I’m looking to put a threaded barrel on my 10/22 Takedown for use with a suppressor I’m purchasing. I’m confusing myself looking at barrel online and am looking for answers to the following:
1.) will any 10/22 barrel work with a takedown model or is it a model-specific barrel? 2.) what are the popular options for 10/22 Takedown threaded barrels? Thank you all for the input and assistance! |

10/22 takedown barrel is specific to the takedown models.
I have one sitting right here on my desk that I swapped for an integrally silenced barrel if you need any pictures or anything. |

As long as it says its made for the 10/22 takedown, it will work.
I use tacsol for mine. |

Or do what I did and spend an extra $200 for a tax stamp and put a 10" charger barrel on it.

It does need to be a takedown specific barrel, I'm a big fan of the Tactical Solutions barrels.

Also any takedown charger barrel will work as well in case anyone is wondering. Like VAfish, I also sbrd my TD and picked up a used TD threaded charger barrel l got off eBay for a really good price. Sold my original TD 16" barrel and it paid for the charger barrel and left me with a little extra money.

Ruger has them back in stock, or at least they did a couple of weeks ago when I finally got to pick one up.
