Trying to do a Form 4 on Eforms tonight to transfer an item to a local dealer for consignment. On the Transferee section for corporation/entity, there is no place for the FFL number, is that supposed to go somewhere? Is there anything that needs to go in the electronic document section like a copy of the FFL's license? Or is that info needed for the Form 4? Thanks. |

Before you get to the transferee info page, there's a tab that asks for the type of transferee. Make sure you pick "FFL with or without SOT". Then the next tab will have a place for the FFL number and expiration date. The rest is automatically populated from that info. If it does not give you an option to input the FFL number, then you picked the wrong option on the previous tab. You do not need to attach any other info for the transferee. The ATF already has that. |
