I bought a used black synthetic stock SS mini a few years back.
It was like 600 bucks.

I finally bought one of style Samson stocks.

While I don’t have a flash suppressor, let alone suppressor mount one, or a bayonet lug,
My total in is about half the price of one of the new Rugers with the stock.

But…

What are you guys using for your sling mount/set up?

Samson makes a decent rear sling mount: HERE

Some folks use a form of the Universal Wire Loop in conjunction with existing front sight swivel
HERE

Other folks use a gas block top cap from Samson HERE  When installing new gas block top cover, keep gaps on sides between the gas block cap and the bottom of the gas block as nearly equal as possible, and torque screws to 30 In/Lbs using typical criss-cross torqueing pattern.

Some other folks install short sections of Pic rail on both sides of the fore end of the stock for a weapon mounted light and a sling swivel.  The wood on the sides of the wooden stock is a bit thin for my liking.

Specter Gear makes slings for the Mini which include a webbing attachment point for the front of the sling HERE

I have TechSight's M1 1" green sling on my Samson folder.

I’ve done a couple different things:

A QD fitting on the back and a piece of paracord on the front gas block.

And a cable looped over the barrel with a QD and sling fitting using traditional QD sling swivels:

I'm using a Specter gear SOP 3 point sling and using 1 1/4" sling swivel at the rear.  Thinking about getting the Samson BA sling point for the front.

On my original Mini-14 GB folder I have a standard 1 1/4" silent sling using the factory mounting locations.

I might just old school it and use the stock front horizontal and a rear basic swivel.

I Would like an easily adjustable two point sling like a Vickers or VTAC,
But does anyone know of something like that made in leather?

I'm using a quick adjust V-Tac sling, mounted with Samson's QD adapter at rear and through the factory loop at front.
