I would like to say that I've had nothing but great experiences with Steve at ADCO. One time my card didn't go through and it was 100% my fault. I had paid some bills and the next day the number was pirated. I canceled the card didn't think any of it. Then got an email from Steve that the card couldn't be processed and the job was done. I was up front about it and Steve while would have been in the right to resell upper for services rendered (he didn't mention it) he didn't. He didn't say that's what he was going to do. Instead he gave me a few days to get the new card in. He even threw some goodies in as it was my first KAC experience (nothing expensive or crazy just cool). I know doesn't mean much but that's the kind of business ADCO is. Customers first is my experience with him! |

I've got a couple guys I've fired as customers because of their behavior with gunbroker/online purchases. And they've done much less than the guy you're dealing with. It's your license and business, you're not obligated to provide your services if you don't want to. You more than anyone have reason to be suspicious of erratic behavior. |
| I'm just curious how the buyer knows that he does not look like you? I can't tell you what any of the buyers or sellers that I've dealt with on Gunbroker over the years look like. I've never really cared. Do you put a picture of yourself on your sales listings or something? Just curious. |

I forgot about this guy until I checked my google reviews last night. This guy really hates me. If I could give Steve and Adco 0 stars I'd absolutely would. Paid to have a barrel shortened and he cut it an inch to long the first time and instead of rushing the order because he knew the barrel needed to be back for an even, he sends me ground labels and I barely made the event because the barrel showed up a few hours before I left. Also won a GunBroker auction and he refuses to process the payment. He even admitted he knew the other bidders as they were "good friends who bought from him for years". All bidders besides myself were local to him. Even called out the shill bidding and then 4 minutes later gets another "buddy" to bid. He now is threatening me with negative feedback on GunBroker if I submit feedback to him. He's a terrible person to deal with and he should have his FFL revoked. Edit: Since Steve replied I'll make sure to add to mine. Steve you absolutely had a buddy bid because you yourself said it in an email to me of knowing them personally. Also to the barrel comment of still getting the job done by the skin of your teeth. Clearly measure once cut twice is your moto. Glad you can play off the fact you don't know how to use a tape measure and cause your customers more problems than you're worth. ADCO is a joke and Steve should quit his day job for being so bad at it. My response: You accused me of shill bidding before the auction was over, so I refused to sell you the suppressor. I sent gunbroker your threatening emails and explained I did not want to complete the sale. Gunbroker gave me their permission to not complete the sale to you and gunbroker refunded my listing fees/taxes. Gunbroker locked my account and did a complete investigation into your shill accusation. Gunbroker has proof that the other people bidding on my auction items bid and win often and are not shills but actual customers. I have friends who buy stuff I list on GB. It doesn't make them a shill because they are friends of mine. It is also not true there were no other bidders. The high bidder below you bid several hundred dollars over what my local customers bid. I even showed gunbroker the 4473s and A&D records of the accused shills related GB won auctions. GB reinstated my account. The item in question was relisted and sold to a fellow in ID. Sorry about cutting the barrel too short. But as you said, I sent you a return tag and took care of it before your match. |

Y'all do good work, fair price and quick enough. Keep your head up: y'all are good at the job and the community knows it. |

My 2 1 star google reviews in the last year are from people who have no complaints about my work, but are mad because I didn't do any work. RETAIL YAY! REVIEW Don't waste your time. This company wasted mine. Communication and better directions go a long way. ... ADCO states to NOT send a "complete upper" or they will charge you $40 for disassembly....and when I sent them my parts disassembled, they claimed I needed to pay the $40 disassembly fee after receiving it. Even though I already disassembled it... Because of this miscommunication on what a "complete upper" means, they're refusing the work unless I pay them more money. Which I refuse to do. I disassembled my upper to what i thought was acceptable. So I paid $18.50 to ship it, AND... ADCO is charging me to ship it back. All because I left my barrel on the receiver. If their directions were better, this situation could have been avoided. My RESPONSE You left out the detail that you loctite/glued the barrel into the receiver. If we can't remove the barrel, we cannot pin the gas block. Also, you were NOT charged for return shipping. You're the first to have this miscommunication issue in 20 years - thanks for the heads up, we updated or definition of complete upper to avoid this in the future. Review Response. That's GREAT! Your directions should have been better to begin with. I didn't know you had to take the barrel off to work on it. Other companies don't do that. I've heard your company has gone downhill lately. Maybe your attitude and neediness are to blame. $40 To heat up a barrel? LOL. If I knew you needed that, it would have been easy to do myself. Instead, you begged for more money and to stick it to me for not giving you $40 more... you were GOING to charge me shipping but decided not to. How nice of you. What a great company to waste your time and money like that. You guys are definitely in the right. I'm wrong, and everyone who reads this will see it. |
