Factory 590A1 SBS with 14 inch barrel. Do you need the Schockwave fore end? I don't think the regular one works as I believe the mag tube is too short. Thoughts? Attached File |

The magpul forend looks so much better than the black corn cob. I do like the look of the wood corn cob but still prefer the magpul I also forgot to mention for anyone else interested the one thing i did not like about the GG&G was they lasered their name on side of it (says transformed by GG&G). It was not listed on website then that it would be there and not sure i would have purchased if i knew that. Not that it is bad but i just don't like all the logo's / names everywhere, etc. |

The best lighting solution for the forend is: Attached File It's out of the way, minimalist, and works like a charm. Mine will even charge up my XS big dot if I need it too glowy. Shop around for them, and they can sometimes be found for around 200 dollars. I think it works better than the big ass forends that take up a lot of real estate, And who needs 1000 lumens for 25 yards? Plus, it's not too bright for indoor use. A more powerful light will reflect off the walls and kill your night vision. And you can use the entire forend, as it should be. |

I am about to do this exact setup because I had a Mini Scout I wasn't using. What I ran into was the backside of the M-Lok screw hitting the little anti-rotation sleeve on the forend. Did you remove some of it or did you just grind down the M-Lok screw to clear it? Thanks in advance. Attached File Attached File UPDATE...got it done. Pretty solid. |

Cool. Works a lot better than any of the other options I've tried so far, including being able to get a full purchase on the forend. I think the issue was that you have a tac-14, with a gg&g forend ( not the same), and I did this by barrel swapping an 870 full sized gun. |
