I recently acquired a Winchester Model 71 made in 1951. It’s the deluxe model with an inlet swivel eye in the buttstock and the opposite eye machined as part of the forend cap. I tried an Uncle Mike’s swivel but the eyes on the rifle are wider than Uncle Mike’s norm and will not close. Can anyone suggest what may work with these factory Winchester eyelets?
