I did a search and didn't find anything on this throughout the forum but may have searched wrong. Either way looks neat but at 2K out the gate the reviews out there are a bit of a dumpsterfire.  This is NOT what I Expected... The Zenith ZF-56  Failed To Load Title Not a lot of info out there on it so have to include MAC  Move over HK93 the ZF-56 is here! As it currently sits Forgotten Weapons may as well go ahead and do an episode on it. |

The other weapons have the cool military factor (except the JAKL) and will likely be around for a while. Lots of support for things like the MCX, Bren, SCAR because those have big military contracts. They're not going away anytime soon. This Zenith thing? They'll probably just sell a handful to civilians. Doesn't have that cool factor going for it, nor does it have some large contract keeping the production line going and little hope of one coming along. |

I decided I would give these a go. I ordered a 14.5 inch pin and weld rifle and a 7.5 inch .300 blk pistol. These were purchased as fun guns and to add to the collection of non AR15 5.56 and .300 blk guns. The rifle will ship out at the end of next week and the pistol the week after that. I will update my experiences with both and I'm curious how the .300 blk will handle subs and Supers both suppressed and unsuppressed. |

I picked up my ZF-56 and ZF-300 from my FFL. I know these get a lot of hate here. Some of it because of a bad review and some because of it not being an HK Clone but my initial impressions are positive at there current price point. There are some things I think they should change but overall they are cool. Please understand that I am looking at these from a collector/fun gun perspective. If my examples prove to be reliable they would be the most modern roller delayed rifle available. They appear to be solid well engineered guns. I am guessing issues have been with assembly or quality control but that's just speculation. I plan to run XM193 and M855 through the 14.5 pin and welded rifle first. I'm not sure where to start with the .300blk pistol. I have some photos if anyone is willing to host them for me. On a side tangent, if there are any Houston area you tubers that want to review these PM me. |

How have they been for you? |

You need a different locking piece for shit that heavy to work. Most people that know guns would have figured that out. I ordered a 9" 300 blk. They have blems for around 1100 on their site. If you want 556, Atlantic has them for around 1k. Have a 300blk Cetme-L, runs supers but won't cycle subs. MAC ran some subs and it worked fine, looking forward to it. |

Finally got around to shooting my 9" in 300blk. Only shot subs today but it did great. Ran some 220gr handloads with 9.4gr 11fs powder, was right at 980fps. Could probably tweek this but it runs good in my other 300blk guns. Also ran Hornady black 208gr without issues. Brass was landing about 10 feet at about 1 o'clock. I like that it is roller delayed and still runs subs. It is light like an AR and has AR ambi controls except for the charging handle that works just like an HK. It takes AR mags, ran Lancer 300blk mags and everything worked as it should. It does lock back on the last round, you can reload and release the bolt like an AR or use the charging handle.
