I have an ITT 160 but anyone who knows me I like to have spares. Basically I like the ability to look through windows before I see what goes bump in the night. I need to see if that is a raccoon or a bear messing around. I also let the grand kids look into the night and see things. The Minox digital night vision is fine but I can't see through windows. Does anyone know of a digital night vision where you can look through windows. One of my battle buddies is sending me a PVS 14 with a few spots as a back up. By the way if you have either a ITT Night Mariner or Night  Mariner you want to part with hit me up.

If you’re a little patient it’s relatively easy to find Omni 7 or 8 tubed PVS14s for $2k flat. Hard to justify cheaper stuff on NV aside from the occasional PVS7 with decent tube well under $1500.

Stay away from anything digital. The performance is just not there yet. I've heard promising things about the Sionix. Up front, I have no experience with them but from the videos posted, they look okay, but Gen 3 stuff blows it out of the water.

I have no idea why your digital can't see out a window??? Apparently Sionyx Aurora Pro's can be had in the $500's in places these days - it's a very good NL4 device, any darker and it needs help - assess your environment. See the dedicated thread. $500 isn't a big hit to any future Analog Gen 3 fund, either. Then you can record your NV shooting when you get Analog.
