I have a Knoxx Compstock on a Moss 500 and needed a rear side mount for the sling. The available mounts either stuck out too far on the side of the weapon and/or it added some length of pull. Either of which I didn't want. My finger reaches the trigger perfectly with the current stock and just knew it wouldn't with a mounting plate between the stock and receiver. I'm using a GG&G QD side mount on the front. I ended up mounting a Micro QD mount from Impact Weapons Components to the stock and it seems to be what I was looking for. Used them on AR15 hand guards and like them a lot. Here's my installation process: 
To determine the mounting position, measured the distance to where the recoil mechanism is narrowest in order to clear the inside of the QD mount. Also made sure not to go too deep and contact the stock mounting screw head and used painters tape to mark the distances. The pics should tell the story... 
3/16" pilot hole 
1/2" final mounting hole. 
Placing the ears of the QD mount at the angle shown below allowed the set screws to be flush with the back of the mount and the recoil mechanism fit in the stock without binding. Used some Loctite on the set screws so they don't move. Tried to burn a divot on the stock with a soldering iron and nail, but the stock is made of a material that doesn't melt easily so I skipped that. It worked with a Magpul AR handguard, but not this stock. No way to get a drill in there to make a divot. 
Finished product. Fits flush and the QD swivel won't rotate with this mount. 
Mounting position is now very similar to my Benelli M1. Been using Magpul MS1 slings on AR carbines and like the ability to easily adjust sling length with the slider.
