This is a RAS handguard set consisting of a KAC bottom and a P&S top. The top is missing the internals but doesn't have any play or looseness to it. The purpose of the parts that would usually go there is to provide a solid free float base for LAMs so that they wouldn't lose zero under fire. Even without the hardware it still felt tighter than the Midwest drop in quad I had. I installed it on my Colt barrel for reference.
