Now we need the cheap BCG & charging handle.  Stag Arms?  Stag Arms?  

I'm thinking we're gonna drop below $290 shortly.  Fingers crossed, fellas.  We'll have to add a 922r link to the OP...

The charging handles on that site are $12.75 delivered with the code the other OP posted. Their BCGs are $55.25 delivered with the same code. Makes for a $187 complete upper.

ETA:  That's $2.90 less than a comparable BCA complete upper.

fadedsun's wanting to shorten a Sabre CavArms lower.  BIgDAM, want to recap your experience?

I cut 2 inches off the one using a small band saw. Then I placed a sheet of sandpaper on a flat surface to true up the face. I used a 1/2" thick screw on recoil pad, epoxied it on and then sanded the excess off.

One tip is to make sure you have the same angle on the cut as end the stock had from the factory. I was off a few degrees and the rifle doesn't shoulder the same as my other ARs. It's still usable but if you are familiar with shooting ARs you notice.

So - really inexpensive lowers are starting to pop up, but w/o a charging handle or BCG.  So, I'm going to start adding those as they come up, along w/ the least expensive BCG & charging handles I can find.  If you find less expensive, post up.
