Unless it was transferred as an Other anyway. Which brings up the question of why GWACS doesn't just make some pistol versions of those lowers anyway? My impression of GWACS is they are going to use their molds until they wear out, and never make another one. Without a pistol specific mold, they'd have to cut em as I did, which is not the prettiest route to take. |

As the lower has never had an upper its still just a firearm receiver. It's the same with those complete aluminum lowers with stocks and parts kits. Lots of FFL may transfer as rifles, but that's not the legal way of doing it. |

In a bit. I'll weigh the Mk 1, & the Mk 2, & the pistol. The Mk 1 has the original parts kit in, though. I'll take the rifle buffer out of it, though.
