With all the recent pros coming out of the closet and announcing they are metricsexuals I feel it is my duty to bring this issue to light. First off, nothing screams 'Merica like a big fat American designed .45 ACP cartridge. Its big. Its heavy. Most importantly its measured in fucking inches. Second off, There's the argument that .45 does nothing better than 9mm. Well let me tell you, that's bullshit. A 9mm round may kill the body, but a .45 ACP round kills the soul. This has been proven time and time again by science and séances. Third off, Did I mention its measured in inches? Some may not find that a big deal, but it is. We stopped putting men on the moon 40 years ago. There's nothing there. There's absolutely no reason to go back except to be able to say we did. Which we can already say. So...
We stopped using low capacity pistols for combat 30 years ago. There's no reason to use a .45 except to be able to say that you carry a .45. Which became obsolete over 80 years ago once JMB invented the Hi-Power. So... I enjoy history and past accomplishments as much as any American, but being wasteful and inefficient when it comes to lifesaving equipment out of nostalgia is just stupid. |
