1-1 Tied up SHG to Alfredssen Alfredssen was amazing. I'm pretty sure I don't like him, but damn, he carried his team on his back to get to OT. You know what we heard here? CROSBY HAD 3 SHOTS!!!!! I'm not even kidding. That was the ticker along the bottom of the coverage. |

The senators won??? Somebody get the refs some glasses because we all know Gary's notes for the refs said for the PENS to win, not the SENS. ;) Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Yeah, that late PP for the pens should have sealed the deal. I picture bettman as a 5'6" balding, catholic guy, who is jumping up and down right now in his rage. He knows media, He knows how to make this sport entertainment. He KNOWS how to make money.. It pisses him off when the actors don't comply. |

Quoted: Quoted: If Fleury was in goal, ti would have ended there. Agreed. I like Fleury too. What a game. EDIT: Fleury would have ended it in regular time long ago! Really? After his shaky performances? I'd be shocked if the game was was a shutout into the last min. I blame the tie game on the Pens puck handlers. THey should have stayed behind the cage as long as possible. They weren't being pressured, there was no point in leaving. Then they do a long outlet pass instead of getting it to one of their men to move the puck up. Poor decision making there along with no defense on the Alfredson shot. |

Alfie's goal was bigger then the GWG IMO.

I'm pissed that Root isn't showing any games in this series and i don't get NBCSN with my dish package. I only get to watch weeked games as it is. Wils, make your IM inbox unfull done. didnt realize it was full. guess i should renew my membership. Edit: dammit Sens. I bet Fluery starts next game Why? Fleury has been Luongoesque this playoffs. Sit fleury until Volkun needs a break. |

Tough one to swallow. Excellent game. It was a great game. I had a feeling the game was over when I saw the Pens get cute and try to kill the clock on the powerplay. I was thinking the same thing... I got the feeling they let off the gas, and were content riding out the clock on the PP. Malkin, and Kunitz both failed to pick up their man when the Senators came into the zone...and they were 5 on 5 at that point, because the Senators had just pulled their goaltender. The Penguins could have ended it several times in OT...They had some really great chances, but it just didn't work out that way. |

Chicago has to win an away game if they hope to advance.
When a team loses a home game, then the series becomes interesting.

Dang..Wings dominated pretty good during that PK and there after...
|
|
Have to say, that is the best I have seen the Wings so far this season. They deserve prop's after 1.

Oh what the hell, Wings up by 2?
Those are huge goals..where were they like this all season? |

Oh what the hell, Wings up by 2? Those are huge goals..where were they like this all season? No kidding. I think it's the crucible effect of the playoffs. Some shy away... Some show up big time. I am notoriously tough on goaltenders... But I must give credit: Howard has been outstanding this series so far. |

Wings have momentum and are controlling the tempo The tempo thing is interesting. I heard Babs in an interview after one of the Ducks games alluding to a streak of a couple minutes where the Ducks dominated... He said it took the Wings several shifts to get back to their plan. It's like the coaches map out the flow of games. It's a chess game I find fascinating. |

Chicago is bringing it Yup..next timw Franzen wants to try and draw a penalty he should make sure Kane isn't on the ice to capitalize. |

Keep knocking Toews down. That arsehole deserves it and more after his spear to Lidstrom's groin in 07.

If i get a chance I'll see if I can find exactly who it was. EDIT: you were right, it was Sharp. All this time I've been pissed at Toews. Good memory, Zam! Regardless, it was cheap, dirty and went beyond "it's playoff hockey". Sidebar: I'm happy to say "there goes my prediction of Hawks in 5" |

Next game should be brutal Yeah I think it will be. Queneville coached teams play right on the ragged edge. |

The Hawks need to figure out Jimmy Howard or they're screwed. And it'd be real nice if they could get the damn puck out of their end when they need to.
The wave-off of that goal was bullshit. Howard got beat; Shaw was in the crease, but Howard never touched him. That goal was going in no matter where Shaw was. |
