Zatkoff, 25, has posted a 21-19-0 record in 43 games for WBS this season. He currently leads the AHL with a 2.00 goals-against average, while his .919 save percentage ranks 13th in the league.
Prior to joining the Penguins organization as an unrestricted free agent this year, the 6-foot-3, 179-pound Zatkoff played four seasons in the Los Angeles Kings organization for their top minor-league affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs.

Watching the postgame... Marchand is NOT the "Little ball of hate" - that was Pat Verbeek.

My dumbass coworker lost $1500 on the game tonight.
Then he has the balls to ask me for a loan because he is behind in his rent. STOOPID FUCKER. |

Really Happy the Pen's are getting killed in this series. Was wondering when the whole goaltender fiasco was going to unfold.
Hope Crosby is crying somewhere |

You're probably right, which means the B's need to win a third game at home and then have the Pens beat elimination in sudden death overtime in game 4. Gotta make the pens the underdog somehow in this series. ;) Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Dear Pittsburgh WAKE THE FUCK UP!!! You are getting your shit pushed in.

I can picture Blysma doing the whole Bull Durham thing.
"You pass the puck, you shoot the puck..............." "Lolly-gaggers!" |

The Pens just looked terrible last night. No passing, tons of giveaways, and Crosby looked like he was sleeping on his feet.

He's very good, but honestly he has only coached what is essentially an All Star team. Now they're arguably even better than they were 3-4 years ago and what's worked in the past isn't working now. As we've learned in Detroit... You can have too much talent on one team. |

I won't even list the crap I "tried". There is ZERO evidence to prove or disprove I may have brought a jersey to bed with me and laid it on my feet. |

Anyone else think this round will be over by Friday with a double sweep?

Anyone else think this round will be over by Friday with a double sweep? Bold prediction! No idear. I am so impressed - Boston has done everything right so far. Even a split at home would give them a great chance to beat Pitt early next week (or whenever game 5 would be) and rest up for the Finals. |

Anyone else think this round will be over by Friday with a double sweep? The way the Pens have been playing I could see them bowing out quickly, especially having lost two at home. I think it's a little over-optimistic to think that Chicago's going to take two in LA. Keepin' my fingers crossed, though. |

is it necessary to put the series totals in the title for those of us watching a day behind on Gamecenter?
Kind of a spoiler alert. |

Having been a resident of the Burgh, I know it is impossible to root for anything on the other side of PA. Really need to have a Winter Classic at Penn State, Flyers v Pens.

Cold War Hurricanes.... err Team Canalina Leaf Canes....
Hmm.. New Canes Jerseys.

Darren Dreger: Visors will be grandfathered in, Hybrid icing testing in preseason, shallower nets to be used next season. ** Visors will not be mandatory for players who have played in 26 or more NHL games already |

I need the Kings to get at least one at home so I can watch Game 5--the only broadcast game remaining in this round.
Every year I think about subscribing to basic cable just for the playoffs, and every year I regret not doing it during the conference championships. |

Watching Hybrid in the AHL this season, I liked it. With us losing Joni to a broken heal from an Icing, I'm on board. Visors, after Marc Staal (and others). It's a no duh point. Heck, Jordan and Eric added visors to their helmets. Shallow net is for more action behind the net I guess.

I realized after I typed. I was focused on the front of the nets. They really need to go back to a looser mesh though... Every once in a while you see a puck go in and pop right back out, that they really have to scrutinize to ensure it actually went in. That was what I was picturing. |
