For now, I need blue prints for a Blackhawk for basic dimensions, and brainstorming ideas. Ideas like having a small scale model of Airforce One coming in over top. Share them here and let us all build on them. We won't be able to do everything, but much will be incorporated. More than you'd imagine. |

Backlight the instruments and use cheap (or out of use) monitors with static instrument pics for MFDs (digital picture frames can work for this too).
It might be worth a trip to a nearby aviation museum to get some photos. If not that, there are plenty of scale model publications to give you in-depth info. |

Dude, yaaaSsssss.
Also, dont you harm that viking boat. Although it looks pretty plain now, in comparison to subs and shuttles, we all know it wasn't a simple task, in many regards led the way, and it's one of my favorites. It displays good from up above with the oars out. Good luck on another great project! |

Viking ship will look great under the dragon with the sword and shield on the wall. We've got some ideas how to tie it all together into a more epic display. Maybe a Viking village? |

I can't wait to see it come together. I have a couple of PDFs with Blackhawk info and pics, if you're interested shoot me your email address and I'll send them. Nothing specific to Marine One unfortunately but extra information is rarely a bad thing. |
| I've contributed in the past and have the T shirts to back it up. In my opinion with the space constraints I would challenge my students with a 3/4 2D, 3D representation of your vision. I.e. front part of the helo in scale projecting from the wall and and a 2D mural backing it up. Like a first person view at a distance with the helo part of it flying towards you and becoming real life as if we're flying over head, IMHO. |

I'm thinking the T-shirts should have "Squadron" design on them, incorporating our Panther mascot somehow.
Maybe on the mural too? You think they'd let us get away with the presidential seal on them? Probably not.  Who knows President Trump?......we're going to need his approval. Nice image of our helo on the front ....maybe just a line drawing....angled, nose front and down. Marine green with white? |

I think the kids will get a kick out of making the White House and Washington Monuments. Maybe the Capital building? This is right next to the Government teacher so it all kind of fits. She also teaches some History classes as well. |

This came to me in the shower.... Just spitballing.... Marine One is painted up on the hall facing side, but fades to a normal Blackhawk maybe even a medevac painted on the other? Not a hard line split duality, but a soft transmission fade; 60/40 or even 70/30? Just an idea. |

ETA: (For all you Traditionalists  )We could do the fade to roots for the CH-53 or S-92 too, I haven't ruled out using the more traditional helo if I can be convinced.
My reasons still revolve around size, although I'll admit it's kind of weak to want to stay with 1/3rd scale, and more importantly, student interest. The kids are familiar with the Blackhawk platform. We get them at shows here now and then, and the National Guard Flys over our town with them every once in a while. |
