Everybody realized that they are offering the exact same pistol kit deal in grey or FDE with phosphate and OD green or FDE with nitride barrels, right?

The BBT was just here; the latest PSA crack delivery is in the house.  I figured a 16" in classic gray was a nice balance to the 10.5" in black.

PSA, I just can't quit you

I am So tempted by this.  Academy is selling stripped Mossberg lowers for $65.  After I pay shipping/transfer fees it seems like an easy choice.  Anybody know anything about these?

@Bronsonburner

get on the primary arms mailing list, they typically put stripped anderson lowers out for $29 once a quarter or so.

I wonder how PSA does it.  They must run some of this on thin margins.

I imagine if and when the next panic happens everyone should be gtg on guns and ammo. A minimum of 4 solid years of PSA hammering our emails with deals every day

Mine is running late due to me canceling the black one I originally ordered on Saturday, on Monday, and reordering the fde kit. But  UPS says the kit will be here on the 18th, and the lower will be at my FFL on the 14th.

Not sure about AZ but my stripped lowers are transferred as "other". I can make them into rifles or pistols with no issue.

Here in WY, a stripped lower is neither a rifle or pistol, so "other" is used on the 4473.

Decided I couldn't hold out any longer once I saw the kit with the NIB BCG and Magpul BUIS for only $20 more.

PSA 10.5" CARBINE-LENGTH 5.56 NATO 1/7 PHOSPHATE MOE EPT SBA3 PISTOL KIT WITH NIBR BCG & MBUS REAR $349.99

You guys are using Active Junky for 6% cash back right? $349.99 and free shipping less the 6% cash back from Active Junky brings my cost to $329.00.

I used the click through link last time I ordered and it didn't work. I complained and AJ has been "waitiing" for PSA to approve my rebate for two weeks.

ETA:  Strangely enough, after posting here, I just got an email from AJ saying the full 6% had been credited. I'll see if the same delay happens on my next order.

Looks like you get the full 6% on everything but ammo and non-PSA firearms.

2% on ammo.

0% on non-PSA firearms.

Glad you got it sorted out after getting in contact with them. I placed my order last night when I was watching some late night tv. I was hoping to see the 6% from active junky in a day or two but was surprised that less than an hour later, I got an email saying I earned the cash back.

It should illuminate what kind of margins other vendors have too. To be sure, some of the higher end manufacturers do use better materials, finishes, etc. And they do reject more parts for QC. But that doesn't mean they are worth six times as much.

A stripped lower should go on the 4473 as ' other '. It's not a pistol or rifle at that point, you can build either.

Put mine together tonight, it's the second kit from PSA I have put together in the last couple months, both came with an extra detent and spring for the take down pin, nice touch.

This is also the second PSA lower that I have had to ream out the hole for the safety detent, it wouldn't fit at all at first, then it was sticking but a slightly bigger drill bit and now it works fine.

Just need to hit amazon for a sling and I am all set.
