Picked up my blue-ray, dvd, book bundle from Target during my lunch break.  They were sold out on the shelf but the employee was able to find one in the back for me.

no one is putting words in your mouth, either you meant them or you didnt, either way, I doubt anyone is interested in your opinion on this.

well here's the thing, I'll stand up against anyone that says it's no big deal that those men died over there that day and that it's ok that they did because they knew the risks.

it's not ok.

it's a huge fucking tragedy that could have easily been prevented, I'm not going to shut up about it because a .mil guy says it's no big deal.

There is a fully operational Video King about a 1/2hr away from me in PA.  It's crazy.  I thought Video King, as a company, had closed many, many years ago.  Maybe they forgot to tell this one store.

Look dude. I suggested another thread because you're hijacking this one. I don't care whether you value my opinion or not. Your opinion is emotional and uneducated. You go to your day job and then post in GD. You watched a movie and now are all torn up.....geez man, give me a break.

I never said that it was no big deal. I said I don't let that shit bother me. It happens all the time.....Johnny O3B and 11B are doing that on a fairly regular basis. Do you get all torn up about that? You must be a real mess. It's fucking war. That shit will happen. I don't like it and for 35 years I've done best to ensure the least amount of bad shit happens to this nation and to Americans. I'm still doing that.

The fact is you saw a movie and now have an opinion. As far as I'm concerned your opinion simply doesn't matter.  You're certainly entitled to it but again, it's of no consequence in the greater scheme. You're not in the game, never have been in the game and never will be in the game. You own an AR and post on GD.

The same would be true if I posted in some construction thread and then got all pissy when you told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. That'd be kind of silly wouldn't it?

Re-read my posts and try to strip out your emotions. I think you'll see that I honor those men like I honor any fallen American. I think you'll also see that I gave perspective based on personal experiences. That's all. I get it, they made a movie and you're upset. Get over it.

gotcha, the only people in this country that have a valid opinion is .mil, good to know you feel that way. I'm not .mil, never have been and never claimed to be (if you think your ignorant comments about my day job or posting here are going to intimidate or belittle me, think again, you dont intimidate me in the least)

Yeah, I thought it was a great movie, I've read everything I could get my hands on about it starting the day it happened, as it was happening, I've been fired up about it since that day (not 2 weeks ago when the movie hit the stores)

You're the one who started in with the douchebag comments, I get that you may have seen and done worse, but who are you to make light of that incident in Benghazi? As to hijacking, EVERY POST up to yours was about the movie or book and where to find it, congratulations for getting something else completely wrong.

you think that making a statement like "i dont let that stuff bother me, they signed up for it and knew it could happen" honors anyone? guess again.. that's about the biggest dick head thing you can say when someone signs up and pays the ultimate sacrifice.. Why don't you quit posting jackass comments (if you can).

Yes, and it should be abundantly clear that the .mil will not, cannot act without orders. In this case, even if there were no "stand down" orders, there was never an order to GO.

Shameful. Inexcusable. Disgraceful. Intolerable. Infuriating.

It was somewhat sobering when the Libyan cargo plane was picking them up and he mentioned "still no Americans"

I felt that the movie would not have lead the uninformed to the point that POTUS/SOS wouldn't make the call. They should have drilled that harder.

I wish someone could take Hilary's 3AM add, and splice in the calls for
help from the movie, and end it with the blonde saying we will die, including me.
Show the jets and helos sitting on the runways.

And then Her Foyal FatAssness saying no one died in Libya

And then Smith's Mom (I think it was her) crying Hillary lied to us, it wasn't about a video, it wasn't a protest.

O'Bama on the golf course.

It's like calling 911, and being told "well, if the auto accident
is already over, we can't do anything to prevent it, so nothing
to see here, move along"

"911. Rape? Oh, he's ripping off your clothes, but you're not
a virgin.... Well. Not much we can do here, move along, Nothing to see here.

What I got from responses on TV by Hillarity and others, was
by the time we got there, it would've been over, so why try.

Another thing: I get the impression from the movie, 4 KIA, one Shell Shock/Smoke Inhalation.
Mortar Rounds, Fire, 13 Hours of Gun Fire. How many people were actually injured?
We heard rumors of people still hospitalized for months.
