Get peace of mind by gauging what you buy. The point to be made is that if you want a rifle to defend life and not just as a range toy, a rifle with parts out of spec may fail you at the most inopportune time. The probability of this happening is small, unless your in combat. But it only needs to fail once, when you most need reliable functionality, to put your life in jeopardy.
