Had mine professionally printed. Bought 5 for my fire crew. I got silicone weather stripping to obtain vacuum seal. Stuck it inside nose cone. Print material is nylon. Filter media is HEPA Kenmore vacuum cleaner bag.  Open source N95 |

I thought about doubling the filter media to two sheets. It says HEPA, by reputable manufacturer. Sure seems thin, but whatever. It is advertised as 99.7% I bought my whole crew one. Since I know they will work I have ordered wife and kids theirs. We currently have a few N95's but this will be easier. You can also use MERV 13 or higher, I believe on HVAC filters. Or the Filtrete 2500 or 2800. |

Turned out great. Attached File It fits me perfectly. Even though petg is hard it has a good face seal. Holds the filter material very well. It's pretty comfortable, I need to find a better strap material though. I'm using 3M Filtrete 1500. It's MERV 12 rating. Not perfect but I figure it's better than a a bandana. Very easy to breathe through. It's way too big for my wife. I'm going to either try the smaller version 2 model or scale this one down a bit. |

Yeah, that sure is an easy design to get injection molding going. I wonder how well it seals on the face w/o the filer being form fitted? Maybe more of a surgical mask type substute? |

Got my order of Filti material just now. came in a UPS bag, just the material (folded) in the UPS bag, no inner bag. Once I figure out how I'm going to sanitize this stuff, I'll give it a try. It looks interestingly thin. If its easy enough to breathe through while doubled up, I think I will go with that. Will report back later. |
