I had one of those and since I never get rid of game systems it must still be around here some place.  Now I'll have to go digging for it.

Was going to say that I never cared about goosebumps…and there was some scary stories books that I read…..that and since I’m a rural Texas kid, of course I read Hank the Cowdog books (the audiobooks were the best thing ever)

And I had a lamborghini poster (and a F-117,  Christie Brinkley, and Kathy Ireland posters)

I had a whole bookshelf full of goosebumps books and still didn’t have more than a small fraction of them. Hard to believe how many titles they pumped out. Haven’t seen any in years. Some weirdos must hoarding them all like beanie babies.

My kid went to the book fair 3 times this week. Once with money from me, one from my father in law, and once from my mother in law.

She bought $142 worth of books between the three trips.

I remember the yo-yo craze hit (again) about 1976 or so. Suddenly EVERYONE had a yo-yo. Commercials on TV, mall tours, competitions, everything.

We used to do the book ordering thing every couple of months in elementary school.
When the books came in, the teacher would hand out 3 or 4, maybe 5... then just hand me the box.
I used to read A LOT as a kid.

POGs pretty much turned into my kids beyblades.  They'd wander the neighborhood challenging people.  They're better than POGs

I had tubes of pogs and slammers. We didn't know how good we had it. Best shows, best movies, best music. Just play some Ninja Turtles on Super Nintendo, watch some In Living Color or Mad TV and drink an Orbitz.
