I noticed the fitness standards stop at age 39.
Does that mean I am exempt? |

Wait - is swimming a requirement? If so, that's going to be logistically difficult. The sit-ups, push-ups and running parts are pretty lax for 50+ farts like me. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'm currently walking around downtown Charleston. I don't mind. But the earliest it's gonna happen will be tonight and might be a couple days. Don't let me rain on your parade. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Every Thursday evening and Sunday morning, them and a bunch of neighbors will meet up at a small public dock, and jump in the water for a swim ... year round. One of the neighbors will bring the communally owned wood-fired sauna (which can be trailered by a car). Jumping in the fucking ocean in Denmark in january? Fuck that noise! |

I'd be interested in training with like-minded folks here in NM. Would also help do what I can to assist in organization. View Quote |

@fmj_shooter what portion of the state? I’m SE and have a back procedure next week, but would be game in 3-4 weeks to try getting in better shape. Doubt I could do the hike w pack, but would love to work towards it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I am literally working on about 80% of one kidney and it's in end stage renal failure, and I am going to go "hike" our beach because of this thread.
I can't really do any of the other stuff yet, but I am getting off my ass and moving. |

Quoted: @JoeMal I'm in. I have been working slowly at getting in better shape. I need to ramp it up again. I would be in for a hike. Only that the DFW area is damn flat. View Quote |

Cool. Looks like we're waiting on someone to lead it... Might end up being me. I was contacted by someone with some Ray Roberts experience so his knowledge will help. Keep an eye on the htf. My head thinks to wait until after the holidays since everyone is so busy, we'll see View Quote |
