Ou 43 lb monster Frenchie is absolutely the sweetest dog I've ever met/owned. Built like a brick shit house. I don't care for the breed's fragility but he is a freak of nature and my best buddy.
One thing I've noticed over the past few years is ghetto people viewing then as status symbols, like Nikes and cars. A lot of thefts of them and the dogs are usually found dead because the hoodrats don't know or do shit. There's a lot of status for them to be seen with because they're expensive. I've gotten on edge a few times when thugs walked up asking how much we paid. It's silly to have to think about being robbed for your dog but it's actually a concern.  Attached File |

French bulldogs are for the gays. Labs are still #1 for the real dog owners. I would actually expand labs to any retrievers or sporting breeds because they all rock. And frenchies are for the gays.

I can almost believe that.
I see tons of them these days. Never at field or a river though. I think they are the new trophy dog. Very expensive, they can't naturally give birth. Most are batshit crazy because they have a pretty high drive for a thick small dog, they can't breath and most of the owners can't be bothered to walk them consistently. Ymmv |

The lab was ready for that at 4 months old btw, the smartest of the bunch if I'm perfectly honest. Female chocolate lab if you're caught up in the color and gender. Labs are right in the middle in shedding dept. There are many dogs that shed more and plenty who shed less. Labs really are amazing dogs. |
