I was at the battlefield memorial today (training class ended early and we had an afternoon to kill)
People here in PA would stomp a mud hole in their ass. I'm pleasantly surprised how nice the area around York is. |

Good Lord Almighty in Heaven above, that is poetry right there ^

They are going to push until they get the right to make a move, then they pivot the issue and use it as an example of right wing extremism or some similar bullshit. I say....stay out of their way, let them do their thing, and dont let them get a rise out of us. They are powerless and look like thuggish fools so long as they dont get the reaction they want. We shouldnt give them that reaction. I know, it would be a glorious feeling and all....but to win this is going to require a lot of ignoring the fuck out of these shitheads until they push it far enough that their actions are indefensible. Letting the NPS rangers take care of them would do more damage to their reputation, and it would save the right from having to fight the battle at all.....which is good for us. View Quote |

The brownshirts will continue to burn flags and desecrate everything American and good from below, while their blackshirts in government protect them and undermine America from above.

That won't end well. View Quote And without lots of riot training and practice I can foresee the park rangers escalating things far beyond a well trained riot squad. If anyone is likely to see their riot response degrade into a skull smacking contest, it would be an agency like NPS. They'll look like the Chicago PD in 1968 because they don't know anything better. I think the Antifa had better hope the PA State Police show up for riot duty that day. Or that the US Marshalls are called in. Because going up against trained riot response type would be safer for them instead of facing scared park rangers who can only think "Swing club. Hit their heads." |

Everyone says that while waiting for someone else to be the one to "take them to task". In situations like this, conservatives are at the distinct disadvantage for two reasons: 1) They actually have a functioning life and things to lose by acting a fool and going vigilante 2) They respect order and the rule of law and won't traverse outside of those bounds until things totally collapse, and by then it'll probably be too late. Isnt that a national park? I would assume the park service would not put up with any shenanigans at any national park. be it antifa or the teaparty. View Quote |

I'd help make the trees grow. They can get away with that shit in the big cities, at Gettysburg not so much. ! One of my favorite places to go in the USA and during those dyes the place is filled with people that may accidentally load a live mini ball and not blanks. Tie them to the front of a cannon and have it loaded with grape shot View Quote |

Remember when Code Pink was going to demonstrate at the VietNam Memorial? They didn't get even remotely close to The Wall. Yes, I was there and I was not alone. View Quote Antifa WANTS to push us to violence. They are looking for a thing, anything that will make us go "fuck that shit" and get physical. They want us to instigate it so that they can turn around and say "see, that's what we are up against." If we want to win the war and not just the battle, we can't give them that win. I'm not saying don't show up, don't protest it, don't defend yourself. I am saying.....it would be wise to refrain from dishing the beat-down that we would all LOVE to dish out. Because we might win that fight, but we'd lose a much larger battle if we did. |

Hmm I might go drink beer at Appalachian Brewing, it's just off the battlefield. They don't know the kind of people in that area. Trump voting farmers are all over the place. Antifa should be encouraged, it will end poorly for them. View Quote |

What I'm getting at is that Antifa WANTS us to come dish out that phys-ed so that they can use it against us. Why play into their hand because it feels good? This bullshit move on their part is EXACTLY out of the Westboro Church playbook.....just amped up for maximum rage causing effect. |

To bad Gettysburg is a National Military Park where firearms are prohibited - big time.
I'll be here, nonetheless, defending my home town with determination - and, outside the park, more than that. |

Since that is in my AO, I will show up with my musket. And it will not end well for them.

Gettysburg Bike Week starts July 6th. I'm sure there will be lots of early arrivals. Especially if news of this is sent thru the proper channels.
|
|
Let's not forget that July 1st of this year is the 154th Anniversary of the first day of battle.
Ranger tours will be in full-swing, so it's not as though they'll be in riot-control mode. Those rangers take those tours very seriously and study hard to get them right. If they are called upon for riot control (for lack of a better term) and taken away from their passionate duties as tour guides . . . yeah. I can see many of them being plenty pissed off. |

We need about 10,000 bikers and 10,000 other great Americans there to guard the graves.
Ideally everyone with a Confederate flag |
