I was at the battlefield memorial today (training class ended early and we had an afternoon to kill)

People here in PA would stomp a mud hole in their ass.

I'm pleasantly surprised how nice the area around York is.

And without lots of riot training and practice I can foresee the park rangers escalating things far beyond a well trained riot squad. If anyone is likely to see their riot response degrade into a skull smacking contest, it would be an agency like NPS. They'll look like the Chicago PD in 1968 because they don't know anything better.

I think the Antifa had better hope the PA State Police show up for riot duty that day. Or that the US Marshalls are called in. Because going up against trained riot response type would be safer for them instead of facing scared park rangers who can only think "Swing club. Hit their heads."

Antifa WANTS to push us to violence. They are looking for a thing, anything that will make us go "fuck that shit" and get physical. They want us to instigate it so that they can turn around and say "see, that's what we are up against."

If we want to win the war and not just the battle, we can't give them that win. I'm not saying don't show up, don't protest it, don't defend yourself. this is interesting statement. antifa is very similar to what the brownshirts were formed to fight against, communists and anarchist in post wwI germany. even the name 'antifa'.. anti fascist. right or wrong post wwI germany was a mishmash of chaos. the brownshirts were a direct response to that chaos and their enemy was german antifa. its what eventually brought hitler to power, the average german's desire to put an end to such folks. the postwar german 'antifa' members were the first ones to be sent to the camps.

Let's not forget that July 1st of this year is the 154th Anniversary of the first day of battle.

Ranger tours will be in full-swing, so it's not as though they'll be in riot-control mode. Those rangers take those tours very seriously and study hard to get them right.

If they are called upon for riot control (for lack of a better term) and taken away from their passionate duties as tour guides . . . yeah. I can see many of them being plenty pissed off.
