Quoted: There has been much complaining over the years about my ban State and generally crappy AR15s. So here are my four post NY AR15s. I'm sure there will still be howls of complaint about my crappy guns, floor that needs mopping etc https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/14563/B50DECB1-CAD4-4391-B3D0-EBC613741D87-2704445.jpg PSA lower with an old post ban PSA upper with bayonet removed and Troy brake installed by ADCO Colt 6920 PSA Maxim View Quote Nice 300,000. What a night of arfcom magic that was. And thank you again, Aimless, for all the posts. Even the dupes. Even the times someone called your thread a dupe, so you locked the original thread so yours was the only thread remaining. And the times you self-duped. That was awesome comedy gold. I'm just waiting on someone with the same join date and less than 10 posts to come on here and say "You talk too much"!!

So I have to ask, Aimless.
Is the 6920 the rifle you wrote the thread about calling your wife over? Maybe a few weeks ago? |

How many SAFE illegal ARs and regular magazines do you think are floating around in NY?
I completely get not posting it here, but I would imagine a fair number of people did move their stuff to a storage locker in PA/sold it/whatever, but kept a rifle and a few mags stashed somewhere. Or, they never even heard about it. I know people that didn't figure out their dad's Striker-12 was an illegal DD, and they'd missed the 5+ year amnesty until 5 years ago. |

View Quote Guys with illegal "assault rifles" who don't know are probably common also. Whenever I had a someone work on the house they'd see gun stuff around and talk about how they had an sks with detachable mags that obviously wasn't registered. There are far less illegal pistols. Guys do go out of state-usually to Florida-and return, sometimes with a 9mm pistol. They never carry them. |

16in M4 barrels? Weird, I thought you were straight.
NOT THAT THERE’S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT! - G. Costanza |

Damn, 300k.
Out of curiosity, what did you do with all those gay NY compliant guns you had? |

WOW! 300K... I remember when you got your first preban. You were stoked. I was here lurking.
So what's it like living in a free state? Have you had any of those moments where you realize you can actually own that when you are in a gun store? |

View Quote Businesses pay to have ads at the schools, they're nylon banners like you see at a race track. I can't find the picture but one of them is a small place that makes precision rifles. We really fled from the Covid insanity but NY got even worse in guns after I left. You can't legally ccw anywhere now. There's not a lot of open carry but no one cares. I saw a dad at a kid's birthday party at a public pool and he has a sort of maxpedition man purse slung over his chest I was like "gun" In NY if anyone has made him there would have been hysteria I do miss the old timey gun clubs in NY. Here mostly you drive outside of town and shoot wherever. There was a sense of community around those old, sometimes 100+ gun ranges and I horribly miss the ny gunbros. Leaving NY is like escaping Soviet controlled East Germany. I'm glad to escape it but I miss it-although to be honest my wife and kids don't miss NY at all. |
