Question: does the artist-formerly-identifying-as-female have to surrender all awards that reference their former female status? If not, do they just update the categories (e.g. "Best Actress or Future Transgender Male Actor") or fold the artist-formerly-identifying-as-female into the award gender category they now wish to identify with?

Also: will existing films with the artist-formerly-identifying-as-female that contain a male love interest now be rebranded as a homosexual relationship?

Also: will films under production that have the artist-formerly-identifying-as-female in a female role be recast and reshot with an artist-identifying-as-female so as to respect the demand that the artist's gender identification coincide with a role's gender?

Trying to understand this, but my head is swimming right now. I'll stop for now until I get some answers on the above.

With all the crap going on with this country how this has even been “news” is a perfect illustration of why we have an issue. It’s not “news” but it is bait. They love to outrage people by pushing normative behavior and boundaries to draw you off sides from the primary issue which is a loss of freedom.

Personally, I could care less what anyone does with their personal lives, what they identify as or who/what they become. It’s about as consequential in my life as someone reporting they have just eaten a can of green beans.
