Quoted: Liberalism really is a mental disorder! WTF. View Quote IMO the real problem is not that Ellen Page, or any transexual wants to swap sexes. Society has been dealing with one person in a thousand or so having that condition for millennia. The problem is not even with people wanting to be polite and humoring the transsexual by pretending they actually are what they are pretending to be. I like being nice to people and not making waves too. The problem is when the Left insists that society, and everyone in it, has to accept that the transexual's delusions are actually true and that anyone who says otherwise is evil. |

The other day I learned that "deadnaming" some tranny gets you banned from Twitter for life. The future is bright indeed. Honk. |

Elliot, formerly known as Ellen Page, addressed his social media followers saying: “Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life. I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self. I’ve been endlessly inspired by so many in the trans community. Thank you for your courage, your generosity and ceaselessly working to make this world a more inclusive and compassionate place. I will offer whatever support I can and continue to strive for a more loving and equal society,” he wrote. “I love that I am trans. And I love that I am queer. And the more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more I dream, the more my heart grows and the more I thrive. To all the trans people who deal with harassment, self-loathing, abuse, and the threat of violence every day: I see you, I love you, and I will do everything I can to change this world for the better,” Page continued. Page uses both he/him and they/them pronouns, and describes himself as transgender and non-binary, meaning that their gender identity is neither man nor woman. Nick Adams, GLAAD’s Director of Transgender Media, said “Elliot Page has given us fantastic characters on-screen, and has been an outspoken advocate for all LGBTQ people. He will now be an inspiration to countless trans and non-binary people. All transgender people deserve the chance to be ourselves and to be accepted for who we are. We celebrate the remarkable Elliot Page today.” Page broke out from his native Canada in 2005 with the revenge thriller “Hard Candy.” Two years later, he starred in Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody’s landmark indie “Juno,” for which Page received an Academy Award nomination among other accolades. HIs notable roles include Kitty Pryde in the “X-Men” series, Christopher Nolan’s “Inception,” “Whip It!” and Sony’s reboot of “Flatliners.” He has produced and starred in films such as “Tallulah” and “Freeheld,” and last year marked his directorial debut examining environmental racism faced by people of color and the First Nations communities of Canada. Prior to transition, Page was one of the most visible out gay actors in Hollywood. The Tuesday announcement further enriches his legacy, and adds him to a small but growing number of out trans creators and stars in Hollywood. This includes performers (Laverne Cox, Trace Lysette, Brian Michael Smith) and creators (The Wachowski Sisters, “Transparent” creator Joey Soloway). Last year, Variety broke the news of the groundbreaking overall content production deal that Netflix signed with Janet Mock, a noted trans storyteller and director of shows like “Pose” and “Hollywood View Quote View Quote Anything to save a dying career All of the roles she is most famous for, are as straight woman where she at least looks like a girl. This will shock you, a couple years ago Page said she was sexually assaulted by Hollywood filth when she was a minor "before she knew" she was a lesbian:
Vox "You should fuck her to make her realize she's gay." This, Ellen Page says in a new Facebook post about her experiences in Hollywood, is what director Brett Ratner who is currently the subject of several sexual harassment and assault allegations told an older woman to do to Page before they began filming X Men: The Last Stand. "I was a young adult who had not yet come out to myself," writes Page. "I knew I was gay, but did not know, so to speak. I felt violated when this happened. I looked down at my feet, didn't say a word and watched as no one else did either." Page was 18 years old at the time and, as she writes in painful detail, already very aware of how powerful men could exert their control. I have been a professional actor since the age of ten. I've had the good fortune to work with many honorable and respectful collaborators both behind and in front of the camera. But the behavior I'm describing is ubiquitous. They (abusers), want you to feel small, to make you insecure, to make you feel like you are indebted to them, or that your actions are to blame for their unwelcome advances. When I was sixteen a director took me to dinner (a professional obligation and a very common one). He fondled my leg under the table and said, "You have to make the move, I can't." I did not make the move and I was fortunate to get away from that situation. It was a painful realization: my safety was not guaranteed at work. An adult authority figure for whom I worked intended to exploit me, physically. I was sexually assaulted by a grip months later. I was asked by a director to sleep with a man in his late twenties and to tell them about it. I did not. This is just what happened during my sixteenth year, a teenager in the entertainment industry. Look at the history of what's happened to minors who've described sexual abuse in Hollywood. Some of them are no longer with us, lost to substance abuse and suicide. Their victimizers? Still working. Protected even as I write this. View Quote |
